How We Price
A clear scope, a written quote and no surprises. Here is how fees work and what shapes them.
Ways to pay for support
Fixed-fee project
For defined work such as software set-up, a clean-up, a registration or a filing. One agreed fee for a clear deliverable. Payment: 50% before work begins and 50% on completion. For larger projects we can agree milestone payments in writing.
Monthly service
For ongoing work such as bookkeeping, reporting, payroll administration or HR support. A fixed fee for an agreed scope, billed monthly. Each invoice states the service period it covers.
Consulting & advisory
For consulting, reviews and occasional support, charged by time. The rate, scope and invoicing frequency are agreed first, and we estimate the time before we start. An advance retainer can be used.
Short or one-time service
For a brief assessment, a health check or a single task. Payment follows the same 50/50 schedule: 50% before work begins and 50% on completion, as stated in your quotation.
We recommend the right model when we quote, and your quotation states the exact schedule. Full terms are in our Payment Policy.
What affects the fee
How much activity there is
The number of transactions, invoices, bills and bank accounts to process each period.
The state of your records
Up-to-date records are quicker to maintain than records that need catching up or correcting first.
Your software and set-up
The accounting software you use, how it is configured and the access we can have to it.
Entities, currencies and countries
More companies, currencies or tax jurisdictions mean more work and more checking.
Reporting and deadlines
How often you want reports, how detailed they are and how tight the filing deadlines are.
Turnaround and frequency
Weekly support differs from monthly support, and urgent work differs from planned work.
What every quote includes
Scope and deliverables
Exactly what we will do and what you will receive.
The fee and what it covers
One clear fee for the agreed scope.
Schedule and turnaround
When work happens and how quickly we respond.
What we need from you
Access, documents and decisions, and by when.
Payment terms
How and when payments are made, in line with our Payment Policy.
What is outside the scope
So anything extra is discussed and agreed before we go ahead.
Payment terms are set out in our Payment Policy and confirmed in writing before work begins. We do not start work until the scope, fees and terms are agreed.
Common questions
Do you publish fixed prices?
Not at the moment. The right fee depends on your scope, so we give a written quote once we understand your needs.
How do I get a quote?
Send us the quote request form with a few details about your business. We aim to reply within one business day.
Can I start with a small piece of work?
Yes. We can start with a defined project or a smaller scope and adjust it in writing as your needs change.
Is clean-up or set-up work charged separately?
If your records need to be brought up to date before ongoing work can begin, we say so and quote it separately, so you know what each part costs.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Fees and what they cover are agreed in writing before work begins. Anything outside the agreed scope is discussed with you and agreed before we proceed.
